To say we had a busy day yesterday is an understatement. 3 very large deliveries from 3 of our favourite suppliers. First to arrive was our delivery of glass from our favourite German supplier, Inge Glass. Always beautiful and elegant, it is a staple favourite of ours. The glass ball backs are the perfect filler pieces, and then the feature decorations are always so beautiful on any tree.

After looking at the top 5 Christmas Decorating Trends we spotted at the Dallas Market in my last post, I thought I would share my favourite finds from the show.

What a great week end we have just had. Drinks and nibbles on Friday night to launch the season, and then continued festivities on Saturday with nibbles and more festive cheer. Let's let the photos speak for themselves.

One of my favourite things about visiting the US Gift Fairs is getting a sneak peak at the coming Christmas Trends.  Here are 5 of the prominent Christmas Trends spotted at the Dallas Gift Fair in January.

One of our favourite glass suppliers, Inge Glas in Germany, work with a number of other European companies each year to create the Annual Christmas Trends List. This year, they have identified 5 key trends for the European market.

Most of our buying is now done for the year, and over the next few months we'll introduce a few of the great ranges available in 2013.  Today it is Stoneleigh Gallery.

If you love shopping (like I do,) NYC always calls your name.  When I visit the States I have a list of my favourite stores I visit, and the New York store is nearly always the flagship so it makes the visit even more special.

Our final stop on the Ultimate Christmas Shop Road Trip was New York City.  We were lucky enough to spend 3 days in NY and left safely a week before Sandy ripped through the area.   In fact, I can’t imagine how eerie it would have been with so few people in the streets and so much of the city in darkness during the storm.  A devastating time for all in the area.  Here’s the first in a 3 part report on our visit to NY.
