If you love shopping (like I do,) NYC always calls your name. When I visit the States I have a list of my favourite stores I visit, and the New York store is nearly always the flagship so it makes the visit even more special.

Now onto the Christmas shop. The store we visited was Christmas in New York in NYC down near Battery Point. They have created a franchise of these stores and from their Facebook page appear to be opening up in many locations around the US.

I believe their store was very badly damaged due to Super Storm Sandy only weeks after we visited but they created a new and gorgeous store near by.

This store has loads of decorations and a good number of themed trees. There were a few ranges I hadn’t seen anywhere else, such as ‘December Diamonds’ range of mermaid decorations, as well as a big range of New York decorations. I had been in their store in LA in January and the NY store was about three times the size. Check out a couple of photos from the store.
