We (my husband Andrew and myself) are going on the road and bringing you along for the visual ride.
We will depart on 11 October for the Ultimate Christmas Shop Road Trip. Visiting more than 10 Christmas shops in eight USA state, we have only one thing on our mind – finding the latest Christmas decorating trends, product and decorating ideas and sharing them with you!
As much as possible we want you to feel like you are on the trip with us. We will be sharing daily reports, photos and videos with all the decorating tips we find on this blog as well as Facebook and Pinterest, and encourage everyone to share their thoughts on our discoveries.
Arriving in Dallas for a quick stop at our first Christmas stores (a further 5 hour drive away), we will fly to Chicago. From here we will be driving more than 2000km on our eight day Ultimate Christmas Shop Road Trip, finishing in New York.
As well as meeting owners and staff at many of the stores we are stopping in on a couple of our favourite Christmas designers to see what they have coming up. Christmas stores we will be stopping at along the way include:

We can’t wait to see what we discover and to come back with lots of new ideas for simple Christmas decorating.
