Pre-order Information
Christmas in July - 2024 FAQ's

Pre-Order Start Date: Our pre-order begins on Monday, 1st of July at 8pm AEST.

Release Days: We will be releasing a collection of products from Sunday to Thursday, taking a break on Friday and Saturday, until the 31st of July. Released items will remain available until the end of the month.

Release Themes: We are primarily releasing by theme. Candy Clouds and Traditional Tidings will be released over two separate days in the month (not consecutive).

Pre-order Cut Off Dates: Once released, the products will remain available for pre-order throughout July. You can wait to see all releases to avoid multiple orders, but please note, some items may sell out, and restocking is not guaranteed. Our final collection will be released on Wednesday, 31st of July, with all items removed from the website at 9pm AEST on Friday, 2nd of August.

Separate Orders: Pre-orders must be purchased separately from in-stock items.

Shipping Dates: Pre-orders are expected to arrive in September/October. We will ship your entire order once all items have arrived. Please anticipate dispatch in late October.

Combined Orders and Changes to Orders: Unfortunately, we are no longer able to combine orders. Pre-orders cannot be cancelled, but we can have additional items added to them if you send us an email with the products you would like to add. We cannot add any items to an existing lay-buy placed with the "Put it on Lay-buy" option.

Delivery Delays: While we strive to keep you informed of any delivery delays, pre-orders cannot be cancelled due to delays unless it becomes evident that products will not be in stock by December 5th. In such cases, we will contact you to discuss a refund.

Missing Items: In the unfortunate event that a pre-ordered product does not arrive or our supplier runs out of stock before we can update our website, we will promptly refund all payments made for the affected item(s).
Please note: Our lay-by option ended on the 4th of August, 2024. However, we do have PayPal in 4 and Afterpay available.
Lay-by Information for Orders Placed after 1st of July 2024.
We are now offering the 'Put It on Lay-buy' option at Checkout. This system allows you to create a set-and-forget series of payments to pay off your purchase with My Christmas.
Note: If you have trouble selecting the "Put it on Lay-buy" option at checkout, don't use the express payment option. You need to check out as a guest (i.e., enter all your information) so that the "Put it on Lay-by" option shows.
Lay-by Terms and Conditions

Minimum Purchase and Deposit: The minimum purchase for pre-order is $150 with a 20% deposit.

Due Date: The due date is 3 months from the time of order.

Charges: There is an admin fee charged directly from the "Put it on Lay-buy" app (this is based on order value).

Interest Charges: No interest charges, ever.

Late Fees: No late fees, ever.

Flexibility: Customers can pay out the balance at any time and take an earlier delivery (assuming stock has arrived).

Delivery: Customers receive their goods after their final payment or once stock arrives.

Payments: Lay-By instalment payments are auto-paid from your linked card in your PayPal setup.

Payment Default: If the lay-by is not paid in full by the due date, My Christmas has the right to cancel the lay-by and will deduct a 20% or minimum $50 admin fee, and all other monies will be refunded. The exception is for special orders or custom-made pieces. If an item is a special order or custom-made, My Christmas will deduct a 50% admin fee.

Cancellations: Lay-bys cannot cancelled.
