About 2.5 hours north of Chicago is a Christmas shop Kristmas Kringle outside the town Font du Lac. I visited this store with a friend 10 years ago when she was living in Chicago and we took a little road trip up to Osh Kosh and thought I would check it out again for the road trip.

Kristmas Kringle’s exterior is traditional German style. Inside there are two levels with a German village scene on the upper level. What I like about this store is the use of lots of theme Christmas trees scattered around to give you a bit of inspiration. They also had a number of collectible lines including Mark Roberts and Department 56.

This store is a lovely place to shop. It has a relaxed atmosphere and pretty displays with lots of theme trees to use as inspiration.
