Ok, I have to say straight up that the 2.5 hour ferry ride across Lake Michigan was hard to take. Could barely stand up it was so rough and the multiple travel nausea tablets only just did their job. But, we were on a mission so as the saying goes, “suck it up Princess” and after the ferry trip we drove a further 3 hours to Bronner’s the biggest Christmas Shop in the world.
Yes, it is big. Bronner’s has both a north and south entrance and this trolley bay gives you an idea of how busy it can become. According to Wayne Bronner, President of Bronner’s on the busiest day there were approximately 25,000 people all shopping for special Christmas decorations.
Bronner’s has rows and rows of every type of decoration you can imagine. From colour themes through to sports, animals, snowmen, and even beers and wine, you will find it at Bronner’s. There is also a large display of Department 56 villages as well as a big Jim Shore range and other collectible ranges not as commonly known Australia.
Here are a few images of Bronner’s in Frankenmuth, Michigan.
